We removed the wall doorway & doorway header separating the existing vanity & commode/shower area, and part of the vanity wall to increase pass through space. All other bathroom components were removed.
Screwed down sub floor to floor joists. Installed ½” cement boards on bathroom floor, built in shower seat , and shower walls. Installed recessed niches in shower for storage. Prepared all existing walls & ceiling for painting (mudded & sanded protrusion points), replaced drywall/mudded/sanded all areas that were demolished and rebuilt.
Installed new shower valve, cast brass with diverter and ran piping for handheld rod and elbow, and the opposite side piped for kohler water tile. Installed shower floor membrane and mud shower base which was sloped for drainage and shower floor tile installation.
Installed 6” oversized recessed lights 90 watt 38 par flood lights with a dimmer
Installed 12”x12” exotic travertine tile at a 1/16” grout line on bathroom floor & shower walls with broken joint/brick lay. Installed 5/8”x5/8” mosaic travertine tile on shower floor, Installed patterned mosaic tiles in niches. Tiled outside walls of the shower with matching travertine, and tiled between vanity mirrors with matching tile. Ad-mix used with grout to ensure color continuity by treating grout throughout to be anti stain/ anti mold resistant, and commercial grade natural stone sealer.
Installed espresso slab door style. All plywood grade vanity.
Installed neutral one shot color quartz with European rectangular under mount sinks
Installed kohler water tile in chrome, danze chrome multi-function handheld with rod and elbow, chrome sleak gooseneck vanity faucets, and chrome simi-frameless sliding door with chrome c-pull handles, (2) custom cut ¼” vanity mirrors, and chrome ebbe drain.
