Bathroom Remodeling Arlington, VA

A large project & expensive multiple room remodel, led to a minor budget for their level 1 bathroom. We kept their existing vanity & tub allowing us the budget to give the bathroom what it had long needed, class!
1 – REMOVAL/DEMOLITION:

All bathroom components were removed, except existing tub & vanity cabinet/vanity medicine cabinet.

2 – PREPARATION:

Screwed down sub floor to floor joists. Installed ½” cement boards on bathroom floor, and shower/tub walls. Installed recessed niches in shower for storage. Prepared all existing walls & ceiling for painting (mudded & sanded protrusion points), replaced drywall/mudded/sanded all areas that were demolished and rebuilt.

3 – PLUMBING

Installed new shower/tub valve cast brass. Installed (1) classic high rise gooseneck faucet with supply lines, Installed shower head with matching diverter & tub spout, and toilet with new wax ring/supply lines & flange

4 – ELECTRICAL:

Installed 6” recessed lights 90 watt 38 par flood with dimmer

5 – FLOOR TILE:

Installed 12”x12” travertine honed & filled tile at a 1/16” grout line on bathroom floor, and shower/tub walls with broken joint/brick lay. Installed travertine base. Installed mosaic glass/natural stone mix in shower niche. Ad-mix used with grout to ensure color continuity by treating grout throughout to be anti stain/ anti mold resistant, and commercial grade natural stone sealer.

7 – EXOTIC GRANITE 3cm COUNTERTOP:

Installed Falcon Yellow exotic granite countertop with ogee edge detail, and (1) oval under mount white porcelain sink.

8 – BATHROOM HARDWARE:

Installed (1) high rise satin nickel finish gooseneck faucet, , new entry door hardware, , satin nickel towel bar holder, satin nickel shower rod, and satin nickel shower head with tub spout/diverter.
